18-1 is all about the .gifs using layers from still images.
I have been skipping around on tutorials in an attempt to find something not completely stupid and I finished chapter 18 then went back to chapter 7. I'm on tutorial 7-1 page 7-11.
This blog will cover two projects. The first is my silhouette project from last semester, the second is the updated W.A.S.C. shirt. Last semester we did a project where we had to take a photo and turn it's subject into a silhouette using Adobe Photoshop. Here is my original photograph and the final project that I call Rapture. The second project today is the updated W.A.S.C. shirt made with the new parameters of the project that were not available originally.

Cabotage: Sabotage done by way of cabbage Today our teacher took the entire structure of the class and flipped it on its head. He is new to the school and not the same teacher that we have had before. The new structure is a micro economy that scales your grade based off of how successful you are. This is a great idea in theory, but in practice I fear that it won't work. I fear that some students won't be able to submit an appropriate project after many attempts and will fail the class. I signed up for this class so that I could learn how to do graphic design, not so that I could be a graphic designer during high school. The way the class will be run is more of a work experience class.
Love, Dante 1) What I like most about my team's tee shirt design is the simplicity and execution of the design. 2) What I would do differently if I had more time is that I would work on improving the claw slashes. 3) What I learned about a quick deadline is that the reward is better than a long deadline. 4) What I like about working in illustrator is that it is easy to use and fun too! 5) Cabotage: Sabotage done by way of cabbage 6) Rotraction My team for this design included myself and my partner David "The Jefe" Robyn.
